In March 2020 Jon Beaven, our Operating Theatre Specialist visited Rampur, UP in North India to assess the local conditions at the charity Hospital whilst at the invitation of the Hospital's General Secretary. 

Following a 10 day visit to the local facilities, it was deemed that improvements to the hospital, and the teaching of the staff would take a considerable amount of time and effort. MiST Foundation agreed to help design and manage a new hospital that will be funded by a local Rampuri businessman, Mr Munan Khan.

This partnership will improve the local healthcare system by the building of a Trauma and Orthopaedic Centre manned by local Doctors and allied health care professionals, trained by the Foundation with a UK Management team in place from the outset. The building of the facility will start at the end of 2020 and the Hospital is planned to open in July 2021.

We are looking for experienced Doctors and Nurses to visit this Hospital in the subsequent years to help train and develop the services.
